Evidence Based Dentistry is a small group dental practice in Menlo Park grounded in one principle: treatment decisions are guided by clinical evidence, not convention. Dr. Victoria Berezina and her team evaluates each patient individually, selecting the most conservative, tooth-sparing intervention supported by the literature. We also coordinate directly with specialists when complex restorative or surgical cases require multidisciplinary management. Our hygienists and Dr Berezina function as a single clinical unit; preventive visits serve as an ongoing diagnostic checkpoint and restorative treatment is informed by continuous hygiene-level surveillance. The result is care that prioritizes long-term tooth structure preservation alongside precise execution of aesthetic and functional outcomes when restorative needs arise.
Every restoration at Evidence Based Dentistry follows a single, end-to-end digital workflow — from initial digital impression through final cementation — with no design decisions outsourced to an external laboratory. Dr. Berezina designs each restoration in-house using CAD software, to a tolerance of one micron, and restorations are fabricated from biocompatible ceramics selected for both esthetics and clinically-proven biocompatibility. Digital X-ray sensors substantially reduce radiation exposure relative to film, and an electronic anesthesia delivery system enables single-tooth, site-specific anesthesia for less discomfort and reduced side effects, such as lip numbness.

Experience: Joined the practice over 20 years ago, following a career as an office services manager at a large corporation. 34 years of combined experience in customer service.
Focus: Oversees day-to-day practice operations, insurance billing, and coordination of patient care.
Dental Hygienist
Credentials: BA and professional degrees in both dental assisting and dental hygiene.
Experience: In practice since 1998 with over 7 years in Dr Berezina's office.
Focus: Delivers preventive hygiene care within the practice's coordinated, team-based treatment model.

Cancellations & Scheduling: We ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel, so that time can be offered to another patient. Patients that either no-show for their appointments, or arrive more than 10 minutes late, will be charged a cancellation fee and will have to reschedule their appointment. If your preferred time isn't available, we're happy to add you to our wait list and will reach out as soon as an earlier opening comes up.
